Directions to Dundee Resort & Golf Club from Sydney

Depart Sydney taking Kings Road, Alexander Street or George Street / Glace Bay Highway. If departing from the Sydney Airport turn left and follow Grand Lake Road Highway past University College of Cape Breton. Through the traffic lights pass the Mayflower Mall and turn left at the lights leading towards highway 105. Eventually you will pass turnoff for Louisbourg & a hospital (exit #8), and then a turnoff for Alexander Street (exit #7), Continue on past and take exit #6 leading to St. Peters and Big Pond; you are now on route #4. Follow route #4 about 1 hour passing through communities such as East Bay, Big Pond, and Johnstown; till you get to St. Peters. You will cross the St.Peters Canal and continue on into St.Peters taking a right on at Parkers Restaurant and the Irving Gas Station (on your right hand side). This is a scenic trail known as the Bras d'Or Lakes Scenic Drive which will take you through the communities of Samponsonville, St. Georges Channel, and The Points West Bay. Driving time here is about a ½ hour. The road is twisty but generally in very good condition. You will drive into Dundee which for the most part is Lakeside. Directions to Dundee Resort & Golf Club from Halifax

From Halifax take exits via bridges or Bedford & connect with Highway 102 heading to Truro & Airport.
If exiting the airport you are going to go up the ramp to the right which leads to Truro. Follow the 102 to Truro and take the New Glasgow, Cape Breton exit. You have now connected with the 105 towards the Canso Causeway. You will pass by the towns of Pictou , New Glasgow, Antigonish bypassing while on the highway.
You will reach Auld's Cove and then cross the Canso Causeway; you are now in Cape Breton. Continue on pass the Tourist Information Centre taking the road to Port Hastings and Port Hawkesbury; you will see the Skye Motel on your right. Continue past the Skye Motel and onto Port Hawkesbury. Follow roadway through two sets of lights passing a mall and on the left some fast food outlets until you come to a dead end. You will turn left at this intersection and set of lights and follow #4 highway past the shopping centre; continue on this highway under the overpass.(DO NOT TAKE RAMP) until you reach Cleveland. (About a 15 minute drive) In Cleveland after crossing a small bridge turn left and bare right onto the communities of West Bay.  On your right you will see the Dundee Resort & Golf Club sign, turn right and drive for about 10 minutes.
